The 1st Bristol Cider Festival is a new event for the cider drinkers of Bristol. Building on the massive success of the three Bath Cider Festivals, at the Brunel Passenger Shed. On offer will be over 80 ciders and perries,plus The Mangledwurzels will be playing. Takes place 8th & 9th August
 
Bristol Shakespeare Festival
 A celebration of open-air theatre in the beautiful parks and gardens of Bristol. Take a rug and a picnic for under-the-stars performances of Shakespeare's best plays. Runs till 31st August.
 
Midsomerset Show
17th August
 A great day out for all the family with cattle, sheep, pigs, show-jumping, show horses, vintage vehicles, bees, honey, rabbits, guinea pigs, poultry, cheese, eggs, cider, history, floral art, flowers, arts and crafts, a food hall and a craft marquee and lots more!
 
International Balloon
Fiesta 2008
 Enjoy the famous mass balloon ascents on the 7th August 6.00pm & the amazing night glow on the 7th & the 9th August at 9.30pm , plus a jam-packed arena entertainment schedule. Runs from the 7th - 10th August.
