The Festival Of Stone

Festival not to be missed. See and talk to nationally recognised sculptors as they produce major works on Bristol harbour side, the 3, 4 & 5 day carving competition for 50 participants, demonstrations, lectures and master classes, street theatre, and hear live music from some of the county’s top artists. 31st May to the 9th June.

The Newt Beer Festival

Bristol’s John Wesley Chapel in £1.5m extension bid

A £1.5m fundraising campaign is being launched to update the world’s first Methodist chapel in Bristol. Plans include a three-storey extension to house the library and offices so more of the chapel could be opened up to the public.
